Angeles City is a large city located just north of Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. Angeles is easily reached by bus or taxi from Manila or directly by domestic and international flights landing at the city’s own Clark International Airport. Those with money to burn will be happy to know that the Lewis Grand Hotel even offers private helicopter service for travel around to and from the hotel.
Angeles City is famed for its nightlife. The elaborate show bars are among the most well known entertainment centers but the city is also home to countless nightclubs, KTV karaoke clubs, restaurants and bars. During the day there are things like nature trips, golf outings and shopping at several large malls available.
Nearly every hotel in Angeles City allows those staying to bring back guests. Sometimes they will ask to see or hold identification cards for the temporary visitors. Often times they will not. The guests are ultimately the responsibility of the people who bring them back to the hotels. Here’s a list of the best hotels in Angeles City with confirmed guest-friendly policies.
1. Angeles Beach Club (Don Juico Avenue)
I’ve already written a review of the Angeles Beach Club. In that review I called the hotel “the best in Angeles City.” That remains true at the time of this writing. The hotel is large, well designed and well kept. It’s also located right in the heart Angeles City only meters away from all of the most popular night spots.
A stay at the Angeles Beach Club is anything but cheap. For the quality the prices are much lower than they would be in a city like New York but for the local area they’re among the highest. Those who want to get full enjoyment out of their trips to Angeles City and are willing to spend the extra money can get the best rate by booking rooms at the Angeles Beach Club online in advance.
2. Lewis Grand (Don Juico Avenue)
If the Angeles City Beach Club is the best hotel in Angeles City the Lewis Grand is a close runner up. In fact many even prefer the Lewis Grand. Known to many locals as the White House because of its presidential appearance the palatial hotel is among the best to be found anywhere in the Philippines.
Rooms at the Lewis Grand are on par with those at the Angeles Beach Club but they are usually a bit less expensive. That’s why I called the hotel “the best value in Angeles City” when I wrote my review of the Lewis Grand earlier this year. This only applies to reserved stays. Those who show up at the last minute hoping to book a room in person may find that the prices are just as high. Big savings can only be guaranteed by booking rooms at the Lewis Grand Hotel online in advance of any stay.
3. Tune Hotel (Don Juico Avenue)
The Tune Hotel in Angeles City isn’t among the nicest in the city. It’s probably not even in the top twenty. It’s a budget hotel that is run in accordance with its parent company. This means that the necessities are provided at the lowest possible rate with any and all extra services being available for individual purchase.
So why is the Tune Hotel included on this list? Simply put not everyone who travels has an unlimited supply of money. Many are low on cash and trying the best they can to see the world. There are many low cost hotels in Angeles City but many cannot be booked online and many more are not great places to stay.
The Tune Hotel at least offers a guaranteed level of service that includes a clean, safe and secure room. Customers are also able to bring guests back to their rooms with no hassle if they see fit. This is perfect for guys who want to watch a movie with a newly found friend without shelling out the four dollars required to enter the cinema at the SM Mall across the highway.
Stays at the Tune Hotel are always inexpensive but hugely discounted rates are only available for those who book a room at the Tune Hotel in Angeles City online in advance of their stay.
